Korea should not have more than one official language.

Canada, Swiss, and India have various languages for their official language. However, Korea have only one official language 'Hangul'. It is very beautiful and scientific language and Korean’s proud alphabet. Korea should not have more than one official language because it have degraded Korean identity, it is very confusing to people and also can't develop the national economy.
Having more than one official language degrades our own identity. While some people may think that multilingual nation can get various culture and cultural identity, the fact is that people who lose their language lose their identity. For example, according to Kim Sook Hee who is directed Cheong-ju public library “Language is not only means of communication but also national history and spirit.” In fact, we came very close to lose our language Hangul when the Japanese Empire. However, ancestors protected Hangul from Japan and handed down Hangul with national identity to posterity. Language should be an essential component of national identity.
Another reason why Korea should not have more than one official language is that it is confusing to people. The young people have a grater capacity for language acquisition than the old people. If another language is decided the official language in Korea, the gap between the younger generation and the older generation is getting bigger. Although they live in the same country, they can not communicate with each other. According to the National Statistical Office, research shows that most of South Korean were confused about official English policy.
Finally, the reason why Korea should not have several official languages is that it doesn't develop the national economy. While people who agree with having several official languages say that having several official languages is one of the ways to be advanced country, it is not true when we see the country where has several official languages. For example, India and Pakistan took the English which is the most influential language as an another official language but it had no effect on developing the national economy. On the other hand, the advanced countries such as France, Italy, Japan and Germany develop the national economy although they highly regard their own language. From the examples above taking several official languages has no effect on developing the national economy.
In the global age, it is true that learning foreign language is useful. But, taking foreign language as an another official language has many problems like degrading national identity or causing confusion. Even insistence of people who advocate having several official language doesn't make sense. How about learn foreign language after master own language?

Powerful female characters in literature
Have you ever been oppressed or looked down upon just you are a woman? Can you endure this poor treatment? Actually, in the 19th century, women were ignored and treated contemptuously. However, there are two women who opposes these unfair circumstances. They are Nora in A Doll’s House and Eliza in Pygmalion. These two novels have a big impact on the society back then. Nora and Eliza, main characters of each novel affect society at that time as a symbol of women’s liberation movement. Nora and Eliza have similarities that they both embody the independent women however they also have differences in their situation and behavior.
First of all, Nora and Eliza are both survivors that escapes from the oppressive clutches of men. Nora who is the main character in A Doll’s House lives under her husband’s repression. Although macarons are her favorite food, she cannot eat macarons free from all anxiety because of her husband Helmer. He treats Nora like a child, in a manner that is kind and patronizing. He does not see Nora as an individual but rather as a toy or a doll to be teased and admired. However, in the end of the story, Nora walks out on her husband and three children for the search for the self. Similarly, Eliza who is the protagonist of Pygmalion is used as a human guinea pig by Phonetics professor Higgins. Higgins lashes out at Eliza, and she has been dependent on him. She works as a street vendor selling flowers before living in the house of Higgins. After experiment, she becomes a lady of the top class. Even though, she can get a comfortable life in the event of marriage with Higgins, she abandons comfortable life and leaves his side. Nora and Eliza both start a new life by giving up all of many things.
However, there are important differences in situations and behavior between leaving of Nora and Eliza. Eliza is young woman and single, also she has a friend who loves her named Freddy. In the end of Pygmalion, Eliza leaves Higgins and she is going to marry Freddy. Existence of Freddy brings her relief from anxiety. On the other hand, Nora is a married woman with three children. She comes to see her position in her marriage with increasing clarity and finds the strength to free herself from oppressive situation. Moreover, she has three children but she makes a difficult decision that she gives up the motherhood and leaves her children for her own freedom. Besides, she has no one left to turn to when she leaves her husband which is different from Eliza. Nora resembles Eliza, but there are distinct differences between the two.
These two women who look alike but have differences were a crucial turning point in the history of literature. Furthermore, the independent women, particularly as it’s embodied by Nora and Eliza, have a strong influence on society and women’s liberation of that time. Although, Nora and Eliza are fictional characters, they have a great power to change the perception of women in men’s world.

Do you know the movie “Iron Man”? If you watch this movie, you can actually see the amazing thing. Tony Stark, the main character of the movie, is the super hero Iron Man. He wears his suit, Mark 42 when he faces his enemies. The suit has the amazing ability and the power to show the virtual information before his eyes. He uses the information before him and defeats his enemy. What is the ability that he uses? It is augmented reality that was invented by Ivan Sutherland. Augmented reality is the integration of digital information with live video or the user's environment in real time. This great innovation becomes more important for human to live future life. Imagine that you become such as Iron Man.

Augmented reality is important because it is used in various ways. There are used for education, entertainment, robotics, shopping, military training, marketing and such more. For example, using the augmented reality in education, teachers can create their own contents and use them to engage students in creative ways. The other example of augmented reality is that shopper don’t need to change their garments to buy clothes. Mirror of using augmented reality in shops that let you virtually try on different outfits, explore colors and patterns.

Another reason that augmented reality is important is that it is easy to use and accessible. While other technologies are too hard to deal with them, augmented reality is easy to handle. Especially augmented reality applications for smart phones become popular these days. For example, augmented reality application include global positioning system(GPS) to pinpoint the user’s location and its compass to detect device orientation. Using this application, people can find their way easily with a few more touch of their finger.

Thanks to Ivan Sutherland and his innovation technology, our life will be more comfortable and convenient. Actually, augmented reality to grow to $150 billion by 2020. This innovation technology started to grow and grow, and a way to bring a new dimension to our life.
